IT projects come and go but the life cycle of technology and change never stops – and the pace of that change can be difficult to keep up with. You almost have to be running to stay still these days!
The Maple way
We’re the team that the IT leaders of tech-dependant organisations come to when they need to work smarter with what they have, while innovating at the same time to tackle their transformational challenges head on.
Maple came into being to show the people that they can keep the lights on AND experiment with new ideas and technologies without breaking the bank!
So, if you want to:
- save money
- do more with less
- free up your team to add value to your business
- promote IT as an enabler
- react quickly but effectively to the changing market
(and who doesn’t?!) our experienced, capable and dedicated team can help.
Our only worry is about doing what sets our customers up for success today, tomorrow and the day after that. By listening hard, caring fiercely, and taking a decidedly ‘un-big’ approach, we deliver solutions that do all of the above – and more.
Inspired by Gartner
Our approach takes inspiration from Gartner’s concept of ‘bimodal’, which they coined a little while ago now. It’s defined as “the practice of managing two separate but coherent styles of work: one focused on predictability; the other on exploration.”
In the context of IT, the first of these styles focuses on core systems, ‘business as usual’ activities, ‘oxygen’ purchases (the things that you need to keep operating) and making the most of what you have, or improving efficiency.
The second focuses more on the transformational, new and inventive ideas and technologies to solve problems for the future, or innovation.
According to Gartner, “both modes are essential to create substantial value and drive significant organisational change” and “play an essential role in digital transformation”.
This operating model still feels a long way off for most people – but not our customers!
